Pam Christie - Managing Director

Pam Christie is the principal of PNG Trekking Adventures and lives in Papua New Guinea. 

Pam also joint ventures with local guides in Zimbabwe, Torres del Paine in Patagonia, Mt Kilimanjaro, and Borneo facilitating expeditions. None of these treks are within the normal tourist corridors. They are raw and out there. This is her speciality giving her guests an experience that most operators will not venture into.

James Varden - Zimbabwe

James is Zimbabwean born and raised. From a very young age he showed a keen interest in the outdoors, preferring to play with skeletons and birds' nests rather than toys. This love of nature was developed at school and upon leaving he started his safari career in Hwange National Park.

James attained his Canoe License in 1992 and his full Professional Guide status in early 1993. James has been in Mana Poos for 13 years and countless of our guests have benefited from his knowledge and passion for the bush.
